Doctor of Ministry (DMin)
Program Overview – Global University Graduate School of Theology
ABC is pleased to announce the opening of our accredited Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program, offered in partnership with the Global Universities Program. This fully accredited, 63-credit-hour doctoral program is designed for ministry leaders seeking advanced training, research competence, and practical skills for effective Christian leadership.
Program Description
The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) at Global University (formerly ICI University & Berean, founded in 1948) is a terminal professional doctorate designed for active ministers, emphasizing praxis (practical application) rather than pure research like a PhD. Offered within a Pentecostal and evangelical framework, it uses a cohort-based model to foster community among students. The program integrates advanced theological study with real-world ministry, delivered through electronic textbooks via Logos Bible Software. Since launching in 2013, it has produced 10 graduates, with 34 students currently enrolled. Accreditation is through the Higher Learning Commission (hlcommission.org), covering BA, MA, MDiv, and DMin degrees.
